Hadley is a master’s-level intern supervised by Patricia Gratson, Psy.D. and Kai Syvertsen, Ph.D. here at Dr. Robin Lowey & Associates. Hadley has her M.S.Ed in Counseling & Mental Health Services and is working on her M.Phil.Ed in Professional Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education.
Hadley has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and is interested in broadening her work to families and couples. She works from an integrative approach, using interventions from psychodynamic, CBT, family systems, and person-centered theories. She approaches her work from feminist theory and trauma-informed lenses. With her younger clients, Hadley enjoys using play therapy and bibliotherapy. Hadley works with clients with a range of symptoms and experiences, including those seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, interpersonal issues, trauma, sexuality/identity issues, and general behavioral concerns.
Hadley is a passionate mental health advocate, and believes in the importance of bridging the gap in mental healthcare. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and focuses heavily on building trust and rapport with her clients. She approaches every new client with curiosity and compassion, and aims to create a space for healing and growth. Hadley is an LGBTQIA+ and sex/kink-affirming practitioner.
