Sharing your story through art can be a way of bypassing the limitations of verbal language. Art Therapy involves creating and exploring imagery to express your feelings, resolve conflicts, reduce stress, improve coping skills and problem solving, increase self-awareness, and heal from trauma. You don’t have to be an artist or have artistic skills to benefit from art therapy. Anyone with an interest in creating and exploring personal imagery can participate.
