Dr. Tiffany Copeland is a Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow and Pennsylvania-certified school psychologist who provides psychotherapy, psychoeducational evaluations, and ADHD evaluations for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 3+. She is completing supervised postdoctoral training toward licensure as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and brings experience from both clinical and school psychology settings to her work with clients and families.
Dr. Copeland enjoys working with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, selective mutism, substance use concerns, and social-emotional or behavioral difficulties. She also works with children and adolescents on improving their executive functioning, organizational skills, social-emotional learning, and behavior management, and she incorporates parent-focused interventions when appropriate.
Dr. Copeland is an empathetic listener who focuses on health, wellness, and healing, and her work with clients is always culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. Dr. Copeland considers all of her clients’ lived experiences and perspectives while creating a safe environment for them to relax and discuss their needs. Her therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with a person-centered perspective, and every session includes direct feedback from the client and goal setting, with mindfulness techniques like deep breathing and meditation often incorporated as well. Dr. Copeland’s goal is for her clients to increase emotional control, understand their inner processes, and foster positivity.
Dr. Copeland has experience working in local schools, hospitals, and outpatient therapy settings. Throughout her career, she has provided therapeutic and educational support to children with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disorders, low-incidence disabilities, and a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Dr. Copeland earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Education from the University of Delaware. She earned master’s degrees in School Psychology from Rowan University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), as well as her Doctor of Psychology degree from PCOM. She previously completed her doctoral internship at Lowey Psychological Services and is pleased to continue working with the practice as a Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow.
